Strategy[edit]
A common card with solid stats, Band of Wild Men is a highly efficient [Dunland] skirmisher and easily splashed in many budget decks. While it does not gain strength in fierce skirmishes as Dunlending Madman and Dunlending Robber do, its high base strength gives it a greater chance of winning the initial skirmish and participating in fierce skirmishes at all.
One of the few [Dunland] minions to have 2 vitality, it can take a wound from Archery without using Hides for protection. Of course, this also makes Band of Wild Men somewhat more vulnerable to cards which spot wounds or wounded minions such as Third Marshal of Riddermark and Hrethel as it can't avoid being exerted by Rohirrim mounts.
Strengths and Weaknesses[edit]
Strong Versus...[edit]
- Good all-around skirmisher
Weak Versus...[edit]
- Unlike most [Dunland] Men, it is able to become wounded and benefit cards such as Third Marshal of Riddermark and Arwen, Queen of Elves and Men
